Still Have Questions? Here Are Some Answers!
What is a paint party (class) experience like?
Simply put...whatever you want it to be. The serious artist will embrace the opportunity to learn new techniques while the novice artist will be excited to get their creative juices flowing while creating their own masterpiece. Both will receive stroke by stroke instruction from a local artist; recreating the featured painting, adding their own unique touch, and taking home a 16 x 20 completed canvass. Did we mention that all of this happens while enjoying nice music and a great atmosphere with friends…old and new. All classes have a designated start time but you are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes early to relax, mingle, or have a “sip.”
How much does it cost?
Our basic classes are either two or three hours; two hour classes are $35 per person, three hour classes are $45 per person. We also offer family paint times where we welcome children 5 years and up which are $25 per person and Tiny Tot days for ages 2 - 5 for $20 per adult and $10 per child. Additionally, there are open paint times where there is no instructor...come in, grab an easel, canvas, paint and apron then let your creativity guide you. These sessions are $25 per person. Please refer to the calendar for exact rates and times for each class.

Thank you in advance for respecting of our cancellation policy.
Do I need to bring anything with me or purchase supplies when I arrive?
Absolutely not! We provide everything you will need for the class, including: a 16″ x 20″ canvas, brushes, paint, easel and apron. You are welcome to bring your own sip and/or snacks along with the necessary utensils. For your convenience we provide corkscrews and napkins.
Do I have to register in advance or can I simply walk in?
No, however, seating is limited and advance registration is STRONGLY recommended, especially if you are attending with group and want to be seated together. Should you walk in we will do all that we can to accommodate your group. Online registration is available 24/7 through our website. There, you can choose from our regularly scheduled classes. If you have 10 or more people in your party, you might consider scheduling a private party of your own where you can choose the painting you want featured. Cash, Mastercard,Visa, and American Express are gladly accepted; no checks or Discover please.
Is there a dress code?
No. While we do provide aprons, please keep in mind that you will be working with acrylic paint that easily washes off of skin, but does not easily wash out of clothes. It is recommended that you wear something that is comfortable and you wouldn’t mind if a little paint got to it.
What is the earliest/latest I can arrive for my scheduled class?
It is recommended that you arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your class to settle into your space. We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes prior to the start of your class. Hostesses (Hosts) for private parties may arrive up to 30 minutes early to set up. Classes begin promptly at their scheduled time, sorry…no grace period.
Are we an art studio?
No we are not. We are ALL ABOUT FUN!!! While you will get great tips and tricks from our local artist who will bring out your inner Picasso, Rembrandt or Van Gogh we are more interested in making sure you have a Sensational experience with your friends, family, significant other or all by yourself. Our instructors are qualified to teach advanced art students but prefer the excitement of partying with our fabulous customers.
How often is the schedule updated?
Generally, the schedule will be updated the 15th of the prior month for the following month i.e. May scheduled will be updated on April 15th. For up to the minute updates please friend us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter. You can also join our email list for special offers, events, contests and new paintings.
Do you sell food and beverages?
We offer light refreshments for sale i.e chips, cookies, juice, etc. Unfortunately we have a firm B.Y.O.B. policy for alcoholic beverages and patrons MUST be 21 years of age in order to consume any alcoholic beverages on the premises of Painting Sensations, LLC. You are always welcomed to bring in food and snacks of your own.
Can I have a private party?
Of course, we’d love to you host your private event! See our Private Parties section for the party that best fits your needs. If you don’t see one that fits, call us…we’ll create one for you.
Will you come to my location?
Yes, we will travel to your location for special events, call us, we’ll be glad to plan the perfect party at your location.
Do I have to paint the featured painting exactly as it is?
Not at all. We encourage our guests to become artists within their own right. So, if that means a change in the color palette, adding a sun or bird it is YOUR art. If you are painting and having FUN, then as far as we're concerned, your art is picture perfect!
Are there age limits for your classes?
Evening classes are generally recommended for ages 15 and up, however exceptions will be made only with parental or guardian supervision. Customers under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Absolutely no one under 12 will be permitted for most evening classes. Certain late night classes will be restricted to ages 21 and up. Family and Tiny Tot days are for children of all ages. Please call the studio with any further questions and exceptions.
