Acrylic Painted Ceramics

 

This Method of painting ceramics is similar to the traditional manner of painting any surface with acrylic paint. Once your creative painting design is done, a protective clear coating is applied on the ceramic. The coating comes in a mat finish or sparkling crystal finish. Once dry, the project is done.

Glazed Ceramics

Glazed ceramics are coated with underglazing paint which must be fired in a kiln. The end product has a shiny, waterproof finish. These ceramics are safe for food use. With the At-Home glazed ceramics kits, you paint the underglaze designs on the ceramics to our studio. Once the product has been fired, we will call you to pick-up your ceramic piece.

There is a ceramic project that is well suited for all ages. Unlike most studios we do not charge by the hour, nor do we add on an additional fee to fire your piece in the kiln. Pickup is generally within 1 week and we will call you to confirm that your project is ready for pick-up.
